Our cat loves this!I have three sphynx. Two are not picky eaters. The other can be picky. I feed dry food every other day. This food has good ingredients in it. There are a lot of meats in it, seems a lot of other food want to add a bunch of other things to fill in for the lack of meats. The price is fair for the types of ingredients it has. Sometimes its hard to find a food with good ingredients at a decent price. My three seemed to like it, they always get excited for feeding time. When its dry food day they will eat some and then come back later and get more. With this they ate it all in one sitting.I live in iwan, we recently had a new Himalayan kitten whos very playful.he usually eat both dry & wet food as we bought a few good brands to let her try.this brand both bounty or not seems to let him become exited as he plays with the bigger donut shape kibbles, he choose to pick all blackwood as i tried mixing with other brands.seems this brand is more delicious for our kitten.I can tell when my fur child loves something. She loves this food. She is very excited and vocal when she sees me coming with the bag. This cat food seems to have premium ingredients in it. The kibbles are dark gray colored, round, and bite sized. You get a good amount of food in the package. I like that this package seals with Velcro rather than the standard zip closures that are common on bags, as the Velcro seals more completely and lasts for the duration that the bag has food in it. My cat can only eat grain free food or else she will get very sick to her stomach, and this food does not upset her tummy at all. This cat food has premium ingredients and is almost half protein. My kitty has done well on this food and I intend to keep her on it as long as I can.…she likes it as well as Meow Mix. So, I guess it’s up to us humans to decide what we think our cat needs nutritionally and how much we’re willing to pay to achieve the thing we’ve decided upon. I feed my cat a rather pricey wet food twice each day with dry food as a supplement. I feel her nutritional needs are being met by the wet food and Meow Mix, so I don’t suppose I’m willing to pay for a much pricier dry food. The vet is always complimenting us on how healthy our girl is, so why change if we don’t need to? The bottom line is that if you feel your cat’s dietary needs aren’t being adequately met with a less expensive dry food, and you can afford this, then buy it. However, if you are feeding your feline a less expensive food and they are healthy and happy, don’t be guilted into buying this.My very picky senior cat went crazy when the package with this food came in. She could smell the fish through the packaging. Upon opening, the fish smell was prominent, but didn't stink. The kibbles are small, round shaped, good size for little kitty mouths. My cat has been eating this food for a few days now, and so far, she seems to be enjoying it. I have not noticed any signs of tummy troubles or bowel troubles. As far as the price, I feel this is a bit expensive at almost $17 for a 3lb bag. Ingredients seem to reflect the price though, as this seems to be really quality ingredients.Top grade ingredients that is made in the USA. I was really hoping my senior kitty was going to love this - she's a picky eater. She smelled it and then walked away. I left it out all day and she just ignored it. The next day I blended it with her usual food and she ate most of it. I'll probably just keep mixing it so that she'll eat more of this. It's much better quality than the cheap stuff that she really likes - and I trust this much more!I have three cats, but one in particular gave me this review. I set out their normal food, this food, and their wet food. Luna, sniffed all three, then came back to this one for an additional sniff and finally ate a bite of her normal food. She then moved over to this food and ate about a fourth of the bowl. On the following days I noticed this food being ate less and less. From her perspective it must have been enticing enough at first but no match for her cat chow. I kept this food available and it was eaten at some point. My conclusion is this is attractive food for a cat but not more than other food. The fact that it is slow cooked means nothing to me but if by chance it has a real value...there you go. Unfortunately, this is more expensive than the normal food we buy and I didn't see a sufficient reason to switch.
